Fannera is an enemy from the fourth stage of R-Type Delta, as well as its remake in R-Type Final 2. They are small transforming craft that swiftly move about before stopping, transforming into a plane-like form, and firing Force-piercing laser beams. They generally appear in groups of two and higher, some of which are sent out by the Parsolon cruiser. They harass the player ship throughout the level until close to the end. They have moderate defenses.
