Helger is the boss of the exclusive Hidden Stage in the Master System port of the original R-Type.
Details
Helger appears as a large blob of flesh attached to the wall, somewhat resembling a bulbous large head. Its weak spot is the mouth, which it opens to release projectiles shaped like blinking balls which bounce around the screen but can be destroyed.
Trivia
- Since it appears to be attached to a wall, it could be implied that Helger is distantly related to the Bydo Cores in a way (presumably being one of the Core leaders itself). This is mere speculation though.
