The distortion of time and space, the different dimension, suddenly appears on the orbit track. Escaping from the incredible energy forms, the fighters fight with the last enemy "Bydo Core". The last force should be a vast amount of blood and tears shed by all human beings. It is the final dance!
Life is the seventh and last stage of R-Type Delta.

R-Type Delta
In this stage, pilots must shoot Bydo infants encased in crystals and large strands of DNA while avoiding the Bydo Core and the sperm-like creatures it sends at invaders. They can see such images as an astronaut, Albert Einstein's equation, etc. in the background. At the end of the stage, pilots face the Bydo (Core) itself. Only the R-9A2 Delta, the RX-10 Albatross and TP-2 POW Armor could escape from this dimension.
R-Type Final
Life appears in this game as one of the hidden areas. Only Cross the Rubicon pilots could access this after completing Battleship Raid.
Trivia
- This stage is a previous version of the Bydo Dimension. When it was destroyed, only the Bydo Forest was kept intact; another part of the Dimension was identified as the Galaxy of Abyss from R-Type III: The Third Lightning.
