Warships are often festooned with weaponry and this is one of the most common. Standard Gun Towers track incoming targets and fire Bydo Shots at them. The towers are individually weak, but are usually found in such numbers as to be rather dangerous, especially since they're only a Warship's most basic defense mechanism.
