Zoydo is an occasional enemy in the R-Type Series. Like many other Bydo, its name has changed from mission to mission, and is often also referred to as Zoid, and Gobuka Brain in certain circles.

These creatures live within the Brood, they attack when they sense objects close to them. They are only encountered in Creature Cave.

R-Type Delta

Zoydo, along with Baldur, was originally going to appear in R-Type Delta as seen from the trailer that also shows early beta footage of the game, but it has been removed from the final version for reasons unknown.
